DINGFENG CAPACITOR - Difference between power capacitor slit-phase compensation and Co-compensation?

Update Time:2018/12/20

Q: DINGFENG CAPACITOR - Difference between power capacitor slit-phase compensation and Co-compensation?

A: The low-voltage compensation capacitor cabinet is equipped with Co-compensation (three-phase) capacitor and slit-phase compensation (single-phase)capacitor. There are the following differences between the two:

Co-compensation capacitor: Three-phase capacitor, the same capacity is compensated for the three-phase circuit at the same time.

Slit-phase compensation capacitor: Single-phase capacitor, the compensation for each phase is calculated separately and compensated separately.

The advantages of the Co-compensation capacitor: simple control, low price, good reliability, convenient maintenance and repair, and low requirements for the compensation controller.

Disadvantages of the Co-compensation capacitor: In the case of three-phase unbalance, it cannot be compensated.

Advantages of the slit-phase compensation capacitor: When the imbalance is applied, the compensation accuracy is high.

Disadvantages of the slit-phase compensation capacitor: expensive, complicated control, difficult to repair and maintain, high requirements for the compensation controller.
